Following the PCC vote on 29 September, 6 Churches in Sefton South Deanery have expressed the wish to enter into the “As if” phase of Fit For Mission, and are being joined for this phase by 3 churches from Sefton North Deanery. A letter from the archdeacon was sent to all churches:
Clergy are now meeting regularly before Christmas to begin to build stronger relationships and work together differently, in preparation for the “As if” phase which will begin in earnest in January 2026. Church Officers from across the 9 churches are also meeting, to build stronger bonds and build friendships and trust in preparation for the work ahead.
